As we continue to operate at a limited capacity and process bookings to come to The Locale, we are only accepting online app orders to keep in line with Government guidance in relation to COVID-19 restrictions.

Once at The Locale, please use this online app to place your order. Each order must include your table number along with the names and telephone numbers of everyone in your party.

Card payment only.
Everyone in your party will be asked for track and trace details before ordering.
Maximum stay 2 hours depending on demand.
Bookings will only be held for 15 minutes.
Masks must be worn when moving around the premises.

Welcome to The Locale, a new local for Glasgow serving some of the best craft beer, contemporary cocktails and bar food the city has to offer. Located just at the edge of town on Charing Cross, The Locale has all the class of a city centre bar with the attitude of a local.

Inspired by combination of Traditional British Pubs, New York Dive Bars and Spanish Locales, The Locale is a real melting pot of flavours and offerings. Our drinks menu has something for everyone, premium draught, canned craft, contemporary cocktails, an extensive wine list and make sure to try our infamous home-made Limoncello. Our fare at The Locale covers all of the major food groups, Fried Chicken, Burgers and Tacos as well as a great selection of bar snacks and small plates for the table. Make sure to check out our lunch deals and midweek promos like Taco Tuesday. We also offer gluten free alternatives and a range of vegan options.

Our very own little suntrap, the Yard is one of the biggest beer gardens in the city centre. Unfortunately we don’t always get beer garden weather but with our amazing fully heated stretch tent we can offer an al fresco experience all year round. When we do get the good weather we host regular BBQs and private events.

Planning a party? Say no more fam.

Themed on a trashy New York Dive bar complete with tacky decor and vandalised toilets our function space at The Locale ‘The Dive’ is perfect spot for any party. With a capacity of upto 50 people, a stand alone bar with your own personal bartender, banging sound system with state of the art sound light and DJ equipment we have everything you need to throw a kick ass party. We can cater for any type of event, DJ sets, comedy, live gigs, stag and hen parties, engagements, office parties and of course birthdays! We can help you plan your perfect night with DJs, welcome drinks, bespoke buffets, visuals, the possibilities are endless!
